New Zealand Shooters Clinch Open and Ladies World DTL Titles

Thursday, March 13th, 2014

Beretta New Zealand was very proud to present Jon Beddis from New Zealand with a Beretta DT11 after a stunning performance  to seal victory at the World Down the line Championships. The event was run over three days from the 10th to 12th March at the Waikato Gun Club near Hamilton.

Natalie Curtis from Matamata won the Ladies title, beating Natalie Rooney another New Zealander by one point. New Zealand teams were also successful claiming the Open title, Ladies 1st and 3rd places and Junior and Veterans 3rd place.

Beretta was the major sponsor of both the World Champions and the NZ National championships which were held the week before. Darryn Nicholls was the NZ  National High Gun, winning a Beretta 692.  With a major presence at both events, the Beretta team was pleased to see so many shooters from both NZ and around the world in the Beretta marquee and over 160 shooters making use of our free gunsmithing service. Our congratulations to all the World and NZ National Championship winners and to both the NZCTA and Waikato Gun Club for running two very successful events.
